Etisalat Quick Pay: Paying an e& Bill for Another Number

Etisalat Quick Pay, now part of e& UAE’s services, lets a customer pay a bill or recharge a number through an online payment flow. It can be useful when paying for another person, provided the correct account and service are selected.

Before paying, ask the account holder for the exact number and amount. A prepaid recharge and a postpaid bill payment are different actions. Choosing the wrong one can send the payment into the wrong process.

Start from the official payment service

The e& group website describes Quickpay and Recharge as a way to pay mobile or eLife bills and recharge without logging in. Start from the UAE operator’s website and choose its Quick Pay service rather than a sponsored lookalike page.

The official quick-pay address may redirect as the website changes. Check that the payment flow belongs to e& or an identified payment provider before entering card details.

How to pay another person’s bill

  1. Get the account number directly from the account holder.
  2. Open Quick Pay through the e& UAE website.
  3. Choose bill payment rather than prepaid recharge where applicable.
  4. Enter the requested account details.
  5. Review the account number and amount.
  6. Complete payment and any bank authentication.
  7. Save the confirmation and transaction reference.

Read the confirmation screen carefully. It should match the intended service. If the details are unclear, stop and ask the account holder to confirm them before paying.

What information is needed?

The payment flow determines the required fields, but the payer should have the service identifier, agreed amount and a supported payment method ready. The account holder’s login password should not need to be exchanged simply to use a no-login payment route.

Bank authentication belongs to the payer. The person paying should complete it through their own bank’s process and should not forward an OTP to another person.

Bill payment versus recharge

Action Purpose
Bill payment Pay an amount against a billed account
Prepaid recharge Add value to a prepaid service

Check any displayed limits and accepted card types in the live payment screen. These are service rules, so a limit copied from an old guide should not override what the operator currently shows.

Payment taken but the bill still appears unpaid?

First look for a successful operator receipt. A bank notification alone may not show whether the operator completed the transaction. Check the amount, account number, reference and time.

Ask the account holder to check their account again, then contact e& through the official support channel if the payment is still missing. Keep the receipt and ask whether the transaction is completed, pending or unsuccessful before paying again.

What if the wrong number was entered?

Contact e& promptly with the receipt and explain the error. Do not promise the intended recipient that a reversal is guaranteed. The provider must review what happened and which options apply.

For future payments, compare the number twice: once before entering it and again on the final review screen. Saving a correctly labelled reference can help, but always confirm it still belongs to the same service.

Should payment details be posted in comments?

No. Keep card data, account identifiers and receipts within official support channels. Public comments should describe the problem without personal information.
