Umm Ramool Dubai: Location, Transport and Visiting Tips

Umm Ramool is an established commercial, industrial and residential area close to Dubai International Airport. It is useful to know when visiting an office, workshop or business near the airport, but an “airport-side” address does not mean a quick walk to a passenger terminal.

The exact building matters here. A company may have an office entrance on one street and a delivery gate on another. Save the correct pin before leaving, especially for a first visit.

Where is Umm Ramool?

Umm Ramool is in eastern Dubai, with the airport to its north and Al Garhoud nearby. The area reference describes its mix of commercial and residential uses and its long-standing industrial role.

Getting there by Metro

Emirates station is the Red Line station to check for the airport-side part of Umm Ramool. The RTA map lists it as R12. Compare the station exit with the building pin before choosing a walking route.

Being near a rail line does not guarantee a short pedestrian route. Roads, fences and building access can add distance. Put the whole journey into the planner and compare a bus or taxi for the final section.

Before a visit, ask whether an appointment is needed and whether the contact will be at that branch. Businesses sometimes use different sites for sales, repairs, storage and administration.

• Ask which entrance visitors should use.
