Introduction
The nol card unlimited all-zones price depends on the pass duration and travel class. RTA’s published regular all-zone pass prices, checked on 4 October 2026, are AED 110 for 7 days, AED 350 for 30 days, AED 830 for 90 days and AED 2,670 for 365 days. Gold Class and approved concession passes use different prices.
“All zones” describes the fare-zone coverage of that travel pass. It does not turn the card into free payment for every taxi, shop, parking bay or intercity coach. Check the permitted transport services and the pass conditions before comparing it with ordinary stored-value travel.
Published all-zone pass prices
The table below uses the all-zone column in RTA’s nol fare information. It compares regular, Gold and approved student or senior concession prices. Card purchase charges and optional products are separate from the pass amount shown here.
| Duration | Regular all zones | Gold all zones | Eligible student or senior all zones |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 days | AED 110 | AED 220 | AED 55 |
| 30 days | AED 350 | AED 700 | AED 175 |
| 90 days | AED 830 | AED 1,660 | AED 415 |
| 365 days | AED 2,670 | AED 5,340 | AED 1,335 |
Confirm the price and eligibility shown in the official purchase channel for the product you choose. A concession price is not available merely because someone has a Blue card. The named holder needs the relevant approved and active category, as explained in the student nol card guide.
Which card can hold the pass?
RTA’s published pass matrix shows the seven-day option for anonymous Silver and Gold cards, while longer periods require a registered or personal card that supports them. Check the card’s status before trying to load a 30-, 90- or 365-day product. Buying a longer pass is different from adding the same amount as ordinary balance.
The Blue personal-card guide explains registration-linked benefits and eligible categories. If you already own a card, review the registered account and available travel products in the official service. You may need to resolve registration or validity before the desired duration is offered.
When buying, confirm the zones, class, duration and displayed validity dates. Keep the receipt until you can see the product on the card. Follow the channel’s activation instructions, because a successful online payment should not be confused with a pass that has already been loaded and recognised for travel.
All zones and the services outside the pass
An all-zone travel product is intended for the transport services permitted by its conditions. It is different from the e-purse, which stores money for chargeable transactions. Keep enough separate balance for services or purchases that your chosen pass does not include.
For example, a nol-accepting taxi or shop can still deduct stored value rather than use the travel pass. Intercity coach fares also need their own check. Read the operator’s fare conditions before using a Dubai pass as the budget for travel to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or another emirate.
Use the metro zones guide to understand the smaller one-zone and two-zone alternatives. All-zone coverage can be valuable for varied journeys, but a daily route that remains within a narrower area may suit a cheaper limited-zone pass. Start with the route you actually use, then add realistic extra trips.
Compare a pass with pay-as-you-go
Suppose you make 22 return commutes in a month and each regular journey costs AED 7.50. That is 44 one-way rides, or AED 330 in journey fares. In that example, an AED 350 regular 30-day all-zone pass costs more unless other covered journeys make up the difference.
At AED 7.50 per ride, 47 covered rides would total AED 352.50. This is an arithmetic comparison, not a promise that every pass pays for itself after the same number of trips. The result changes with the fare band, class, concession, days travelled and the services included.
Count planned leave, weekends and work-from-home days before buying. A visitor staying for five days should compare the actual expected rides with the seven-day price rather than assuming a weekly pass is always the cheaper option. Gold Class comfort also costs more, so compare the class you truly intend to use.
Check journeys after purchase
Use your pass according to the tapping rules and monitor the first few trips. If stored value is deducted unexpectedly, check the validity, selected zones, class and service before assuming a fault. A journey outside the product’s coverage can still be chargeable even when the card holds an active pass.
The nol transaction history guide explains how to review entries and keep useful details for a query. Save the purchase receipt and note the station or bus journey involved. Those records are more useful for resolving an unexpected charge than only reporting that the balance seems lower.
Final thoughts
Choose the all-zone pass by duration, class, eligible card and expected journeys. The regular price starts at AED 110 for seven days, but value depends on how you travel. Confirm the displayed validity and keep stored value available for transactions outside the pass.
